Starting my mornings with this one lately... I realized that sometimes I miss some creamy texture in my mornings, and especially when the breezy chill days start coming. So I found this Golden Latte to be perfect, especially if I am not drinking coffee. It's also very easy to make.

Here is why some of the ingredients make the detail: The pinch of black pepper is not really for flavor but it activates the turmeric (learned that from a client of mine from India), and if you want you can add a little coconut oil, to make it easier for some of the vitamins to be absorbed by your body. I personally don't, as I like my latte really creamy - I found that the almond butter also helps with that.
If you are in a low carb season (like WILDFIT® Spring), definitely use Almond milk and no honey/maple syrup. If not, you can adjust to the desired level of sweetness. I personally never have it with honey/maple syrup as I love the taste as is.
Ingredients
1 cup unsweetened almond milk or coconut milk
1 1/2 teaspoons almond butter
1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon plus additional for serving
1 small cinnamon stick
1/4 teaspoon ground turmeric
1/8 teaspoon ground ginger
tiny pinch ground black pepper
Optional: 2 teaspoons honey (or maple syrup, if vegan)
(note: if you want to add some seasonal touch, you can add some pumpkin spice to it)

Directions
In a small saucepan add all the ingredients and stir until the powders are all mixed in. Take it to medium heat for about 5 minutes or less, always stirring. Once it starts bubbling (don't let it boil), remove it from the heat.
Remove cinnamon stick (if you want- I like to keep mine and bite it afterward) and serve it on a mug, sprinkling cinnamon on top
